"Smart Mobility" for the "Smart City" Hamburg
In "Design the Smart Mobility - ITS Hackathon Hamburg" citizens and experts are developing mobility solutions for the city of the future based on OpenData
On 20 and 21 October 2017, start-ups, hackers, developers and creative thinkers will meet in Hamburg to look for "pearls and rough diamonds" in the treasures of Deutsche Bahn and its partners. Within the framework of the Hackathon, applications, software solutions and innovative project approaches for intelligent mobility solutions will be developed within the 24 hours of the future.
It plans and builds on future-oriented solutions for the information of passengers, navigation in railway stations and the anticipatory maintenance of the infrastructure. However, the data on digital solutions and new business models are also linked to topics such as "mobility as a service", "digital stations" or on-demand shuttles and load wheels, as components of Smart City.
The community also has the opportunity to exchange experiences with DB experts and Open Data experts.
Co-operation partners of the event organized by the Hamburg Logistics Initiative include: DB OpenData, DB mindbox, DB SmartCities, the German Association for Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), Geowerkstatt Hamburg and the Hamburg Authority for Economic Affairs, Transport and Information, as well as the state enterprise Geoinformation and Surveying.
