As part of the "Infrastructure and Services" (VRI) Board Division of Deutsche Bahn AG, DB Station&Service AG is responsible for operating over 5400 railway stations in the infrastructure and for the commercial utilisation of available space in nearly 1600 station buildings.

DB Station&Service AG breaks down into the business units Operation, Leasing and Service. These business units cover all the requirements of railway undertakings entering our stations. The business units also provide a pleasant atmosphere in which travellers and visitors can feel safe and well.

The railway stations moreover offer a wide range of goods and services for travellers, visitors to the stations and for residents.

Railway stations form a central link in the travel chain, quickly developing into meeting places with their own large range of offerings in shopping, gastronomy and services.
