Closer to the customer through locations away from stations
With the aid of its DB Mobility Centres away from stations, Deutsche Bahn would above all like to reach people who have not tended to travel by rail in the past. DB is strengthening its presence in this way and offering customers personal service right outside their front doors.
The first Mobility Centre was opened in November 2005 in Frankfurt am Main. The second followed in June 2006 in the KaDeWe department store in Berlin. Further locations in Hamburg, Munich and Cologne were opened in December 2006.
Locations of the Mobility Centres:
- Frankfurt/Main: Berger Straße 31-33
- Berlin: Tauentzienstraße 21-24 (KaDeWe)
- Hamburg: Eppendorfer Landstraße 59
- Munich: Am Kurfürstenplatz 5
- Cologne: Zülpicher Straße 288
Already today, Deutsche Bahn has a large number of distribution channels at its disposal. Besides at DB Travel Centres and DB agencies, tickets are also available from vending machines, on the Internet, by telephone from the DB call centre and on long-distance trains.
