Koblenz and Halle/Saale

The DB Museum has a collection of well over 150 heritage rail vehicles. Only a number of them are on display in Nuremberg. Other vehicles can be seen at the museum locations in Koblenz and Halle/Saale.

Since 2001, the DB Museum has run museums at locations outside Nuremberg

In 2001, the first new museum location was opened in Koblenz-Lützel. The opening of the next DB Museum location in Halle/Saale followed in 2003. The two locations have a total of around 50 heritage vehicles on display.

The DB Museum in Halle/Saale shows rare objects of railway history

Around 20 heritage rail vehicles are on display in the former Engine Shed IV. Besides a number of Reichsbahn steam locomotives, numerous early electric and diesel locomotives have also been given a home here.
