The "Lessing" restaurant inside the DB Museum looks forward to satisfying your culinary desires during your visit to the museum or in the evening. You can enjoy a drink and a small snack, or even a full menu, in a pleasant atmosphere

The restaurant has a separate entrance and can therefore be visited regardless of whether you are visiting the museum or not. 

Opening times

  • Closed on Mondays
  • Tuesday to friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.i
  • Weekends and public holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The "Red Room" in the DB Museum's Lessing Restaurant

Private functions in the “Lessing” restaurant

Our “Red Room” can be used for private functions catering for between 20 and 40 guests. There is no set menu: you simply decide what kind of meal takes your fancy. On Mondays, the entire restaurant is at your disposal for between 40 and 120 guests.

Functions in the DB Museum

Enjoy the unusual atmosphere and celebrate with up to 200 guests surrounded by exhibits and original vehicles.

There is a beautiful ballroom on the first floor, which can cater for up to 140 guests.

Our restaurant’s friendly service team will see to all your needs and make your festive occasion an unforgettable experience.

Children’s Birthday Menu

The restaurant will also prepare the Children’s Birthday Menu at EUR 4.50 per child. If you wish, you can also bring your own birthday cake.
