Getting there by rail

You can get to Nuremberg very easily with Deutsche Bahn. For timetable information please use the link to the right of this text.

Getting there using public transport

Go by VGN (Greater Nuremberg Transport Association) straight to the museum, with no stress and no parking problems: from the “Opernhaus” underground station (U2), you only have to walk 100 metres. For holders of a VGN ticket validated on the day of the visit to the DB Museum, admission is only EUR 3 for adults. For VGN timetable information, please use the link to the right of this text.

From the central station, it’s just a 10-minute walk or one stop on the underground.

Getting there by car, parking facilities

After leaving the autobahn, follow the signs to the Centrum (city centre) or Hauptbahnhof (central railway station). Access to the museum is via Altstadtring (Frauentorgraben) and Lessingstraße.

Nearest multi-storey car park: Opernhaus. There are some chargeable parking spaces available in front of the museum. Please use the Park & Ride system.
