Future of Maintenance II
Start-ups can apply for the new DB StartupXpress until January 21, 2018
Deutsche Bahn is looking for innovative tech start-ups who want to use their solutions to help shape the maintenance of the future. The DB Accelerator is now called DB StartupXpress.
The DB maintains a route network of over 30,000 km with 70,000 switches and 100,000 signals. 12 million travelers use DB transport every day. We are looking for founders to increase availability, predict downtime, improve maintenance quality, or provide new services to maintenance technicians with their hardware and software solutions. In demand are technologies such as sensors, deep learning, predictive maintenance solutions, Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR, AR) applications, navigation solutions, robots and drones.
During an intensive 100-day program in the DB mindbox (March - June 2018), the start-ups develop prototypes together with mentors and DB experts. These can be tested live in the DB environment in order to present a product ready for the market on Demo Day.
Applications are possible from now until 21st January 2018.
