Deutsche Bahn is expanding its range of night trains. All DB night trains are now operated under the City Night Line brand and serve a substantially larger international line network with 29 connections to nine European countries.

Opt for City Night Line and you can reach the main cities and most attractive countries in Europe in your sleep. Since 9  December 2007, all DB night trains have operated under the City Night Line brand, serving a substantially larger international line network with 29 connections to nine European countries.

In addition to the well established night train network, Amsterdam now plays a more important role as a major hub for European overnight passenger transport. The new international connections to and from Copenhagen, Prague, Vienna and Milan no longer end in Germany, but continue to the Dutch metropolis. Switzerland is still the most important foreign market for City Night Line, with connections from Basel and Zurich, for example, to Amsterdam, Copenhagen and  – a new addition – from Basel to Prague.
