Since February 2020, Deutsche Bahn AG has been offering its passengers the opportunity to purchase bottles of mineral water from the Berlin-based startup share in the onboard bistros of IC and ICE trains. The half-liter reusable bottle used is made of 35 percent recycled plastic, thereby reducing plastic waste. In addition, a portion of the revenues from the sale of the water bottles is donated to fund drinking water projects.
